Show i Moab Literary Club Opens Fall Season " The Woman's Literary Liter-ary Club will hold its first meeting of Hie new year with their annual Membership Tea to be held Sunday, Sept. 28, at the First Western National Bank conference confer-ence room. All women of Moab, who are interested interes-ted may attend this tea. It is an open meeting. A new potential member mem-ber may attend this tea and two other meetings before she decides to become a member. The new officers are hostess for the tea with Diane Wangsgard, vice-president, vice-president, as chairman. New officers are Juanita Mabery, president; Diane Di-ane Wangsgard, vice-president; vice-president; Flora Evans, secretary; Palma Jacobs, Ja-cobs, treasurer; Jen Pope, auditor; and Ila Corbin, historian. Appointive chairmen are Ann Pool, publicity; (iwyn Meador, education; educa-tion; Mary Lyn Jensen, conservation; Sylvia Levering, fine arts; Carol Ilines, home life; Loraine Wilkerson, international in-ternational affairs, and Jen Pope, public affairs. Other appointive posts will be announced later. The fall board meeting of the Eastern District, Utah Federated Fede-rated Women's Clubs,, will be held Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Book Cliffs Restaurant in Green River. All dis-trist dis-trist officers and chairmen chair-men are urged to attend and all club members are welcome. |
