Show ; ' 1 i f Elder Richards Conference Set by Moab L.D.S. Elder Franklin D. Richards, an Assistant to the Council of Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at the Moab Stake Conference Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30, in Moab. Elder Richards was a Salt Lake attorney and once served as U.S. Commissioner of Federal Fed-eral Housing Administration. Admini-stration. He also was involved in the mortgage banking business. He was president of the Northwestern States Mission when appointed to his present Church position in 1960. The visiting church authority will present a new film entitled "Meet the Mormons" which shows church members in typical activities worldwide. The spokesman spokes-man is expected to enlarge on the theme of what church teachings mean to those who accept ac-cept and practice them. The Conference session wHl be held Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Moab Chapel. 701 East. Locust Lane, Moab. Stake President 1 Cleve A. Raymond, 351 ' Walker, welcomes all visitors. |
