After discussion Commissioner Dan Holyoak moved that $2400 be included in the 1977 budget for this purpose, however his motion died for lack of a second. Problems at the Senior Citizen's Hall were discussed by Fire Chief Troy Black. He reported that the building does not conform to the fire code in the following areas: exits and hallways are not adequate; the carpenter shop is flammable; flamm-able; S & I Thrift, which occupies part of the building, is overload I . . ith goods, presenting a fire hazard; and doors do not conform to the code. The commission will study these problems with the senior citizens and examine alternatives. |
