Show WHEREAS, to protect the tribal land from trespass by unauthorized unauthor-ized persons; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UINTAH AND OURAY OU-RAY TRIBAL BUSINESS COMMITTEE OF THE UTE INDIAN TRIBE that we hereby close, but not limited to, the following internal management man-agement vehicle trails on Indian owned land from September 8 to November 1: a. Cart Hollow from Rt. 7 to Forest boundary. boun-dary. b. Big Springs from Rt. 171 to Forest boundary. boun-dary. C. Dry Gulch from County Road east of Bluebell to Forest boundary. boun-dary. d. Pole Gate from . Rt. 7 to Forest boundary. boun-dary. e. Dry Kiln from Ft. 7 to Forest boundary. f. Cottonwood from Rt. 7 to Forest boundary. boun-dary. g. Mud Springs from reservation boundary north of Altonah to Forest For-est boundary. h. Kearn or Willow Springs from Mud Springs and Rt. 7 to Forest boundary. i. Petty Mountain from Telephone Hollow Road to Forest boundary. boun-dary. j. Bear Wallow from Highline Road across Tawanta Flat to Forest boundary. k. Tawanta Flat from County Road 134 to Highline Road. 1. Water Hollow from Highline Road to Forest boundary. m. Dick Hollow and McAfee Basin from Rock Creek Pass Road to Forest boundary. n. Dick Hollow from Rock Creek Pass north of Rock Creek Pass Road. o. Dry Mountain from County Road up Rock Creek to Rock Creek Pass Road. p. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED RE-SOLVED that the Superintendent Super-intendent of the Uintah and Ouray Agency pursuant pur-suant to Section 162.6 Code of Federal Regulations Reg-ulations and authority delegated to the Superintendent Super-intendent of the Uin-tan Uin-tan and Ouray Agency by the Phoenix Area Office Of-fice under redelegation Order No. 3 dated July I, 1969, to support the tribe in management and protection of its range, forest, land, livestock, and game resources and hereby closes Bureau of Indian Affairs occasional oc-casional maintenance routes listed below to all unauthorized personnel per-sonnel during this same period of time; it being further understood that oil companies and other authorized organizations organi-zations will furnish the Chief of the Ute Tribal Police a listing of their authorized personnel who will be utilizing these roads: a. Route 6 known as the Pole Creek Trail. b. Route 10 known as the Dark Canyon - Jefferson Jef-ferson Park Loop Trail. , c. Route 18 known as the Coyote Basin Trail. d. Route 19 known as the Cottonwood Trail. e. Route 71 known as the Little Mountain Trail. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED RE-SOLVED that no unauthorized unau-thorized personnel will be allowed to carry firearms, fire-arms, and that they will be subject to search by authorized tribal personnel. per-sonnel. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED RE-SOLVED that holders of valid Ute Tribal fishing and camping permits will be authorized to camp and fish in designated desig-nated areas only, provided pro-vided they are not car- rying firearms. sHomey J.
