Show Staff Changes Announced at Times Major changes in staff assignments at 'i'he Times-Independent were announced this week by Publisher Sam Taylor, following the loss of two employees. Hrenda Brake, who had been computer typesetter at the newspaper since the publication converted to photo-composition last October, was married this week to Mr. William Marlar of Salt Lake City, and will be making her home in that city. Loraine Hofer, who for a number of years has been news editor at The Times, as well as filling other responsibilities, will be moving next weekend week-end to Idaho Citv. Idaho, where her husband has been transferred by the U.S. Forest Service. New additions to the staff will include Kalhy Kemper, who will be in charge of the computer typesetting department. Assisting her on a part-lime part-lime basis as typesetter will be Cindy Wiseman, a Junior at (i rand County High School. Mrs. Laura Mays, who worked for The Times in the 19.00', has come back on the staff to take charge of circulation. She will also handle responsibilities respon-sibilities as receptionist at the newspaper, printing print-ing plant and office supplies sup-plies store. Adrien Taylor, wife of the publisher and journalism jour-nalism graduate from-the from-the University of Utah, will be taking over principal prin-cipal responsibility on the news desk being vacated va-cated by Mrs. Hofer. Mrs. Taylor has been working the past year in numerous departments of the newspaper. Advertising Advertis-ing sales and editorial assignments will be shared by Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, and by Krnest Milner, mechanical foreman fore-man and sports editor for the publicatiom. Other changes at The Time were also announced. an-nounced. Custom blueprinting and copy work has been turned over to Moab Copy Service, and will not be handled at the Times plant any longer. In addition, ad-dition, the total operation of the business has been consolidated into one half of the Center street location lo-cation formerly housing Moab Blue Print Company. Com-pany. The firm will continue con-tinue on the office supplies sup-plies business, and will still maintain its commercial com-mercial printing operation, opera-tion, serving the community com-munity and its business firms with custom job printing.
