Show Lost Woman Found in Triangle Area Colorado authorities reported late last week that a Clifton, Colo, woman wo-man lost for three days near the Dolores Traing-le Traing-le was found alive and well on a rock ledge where she had been for three days. Mr. and Mrs. Elma Waters were traveling in the Triangle area when their car broke down. Mr. Waters left to get help and later in the day, Mrs. Waters climbed to the top of a hill to look around. She became lost after dark and was unable to find the car. In the meantime, mean-time, Mr. Waters had returned re-turned and a search was initiated. Two Civil Air Patrol planes were called into the search last Thursday Thurs-day along with a number of ground units including Sheriffs Department officials of-ficials from Colorado and Grand County. At 7:15 p.m., they found Mrs. Waters near a rock ledge led-ge where she had been since Monday. The men radioed for a helicopter which arrived from Montrose at about 10:30 p.m. Mrs. Waters was taken to a Grand Junction Junc-tion Hospital where she was reported in good condition. |
