Show 1 Green River 1 crX, A Letter from Pearl, lona and Barbara... SUNSHINE AGAIN Tuesday morning the sun rose and shone on us again, after a couple of weeks of storm. The snow was more than welcome and 8 or 10 inches fell on the surrounding ranges. The town was buried in intermittent snow and fog for about a week. Dennis Hock-man Hock-man of Redtail Aviation was forced to land his passengers from Atlas Resources in Price one evening when he found the local field socked in to the ground with a heavy fog. He was flying the Redtail twin-engine twin-engine Skymaster. BURR-HULSE WEDDING Kevin Burr and Miss Bren-da Bren-da Hulse, Las Vegas, have set January 27 as their wedding day at the St. George Temple. Kevin is the son of Principal and Mrs. Thomas Burr, and Brenda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence R. Hulse. Kevin returned last March from his mission, served in Milano, Italy. He enrolled at BYU, where the young couple met as Brenda was enrolled there from Nevada. Brenda is very popular with her crowd, and was a cheerleader cheer-leader in high school. Her father has served many positions posi-tions in the church, and is now on the Nevada State High Council. He is an accountant, and his firm, Hulse and Gillies, Gil-lies, CPA, is owned by him and Fred Gillies. Fred's father, fath-er, Moroni Gillies, grew up in Green River, a brother to Una and Bob. Kevin is transferring to Tech, where he will study drafting and work part time for a drafting firm. Brenda will accept employment with an accounting firm, and the young couple will live in Provo. The Thomas Burrs express their pleasure that Kevin and his family will be closer to home, as they drive in often to see Conae, who is enrolled at BYU. VISITS CITY Mrs. Geneva Powell, her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Markisich and her children Lori and George drove into Salt Lake City for the weekend. week-end. ATLAS RESOURCES Atlas Resources have mov ed into a large mobile home for an office, parking it in the Moonliter Court owned by Joe Gelo. It is rumored that Lowdermilk has the contract to put in the coal loading facility three miles west 'of town. |
