Show Two accidents investigated by Police this week Two accidents were investigated investi-gated by Moab Police Tues., Jan. 24. At 8 a.m. a 1977 GMC pickup belonging to Randy Rankin was hit by an unknown un-known vehicle in the Canyonlands Canyon-lands Motel parking lot. There was about $200 damage. At 12:40 p.m. Al Berna, driving a 1975 Chevrolet pickup, pick-up, was making a left turn onto Kane Creek Drive from 5th West and collided with a 1977 Chevrolet driven by Steven Walker, who was driving driv-ing West on Kane Creek Blvd. There was about $200 damage dam-age to the pickup and about $1,200 damage to the sedan. This accident is still under investigation. On Jan. 21 at 10:15 p.m. in the Greenwell parking lot, Kirt Ross, driving a 1978 Dodge pickup, backed into the guard rail, doing about $200 damage to his vehicle. Also during the week, Robert Rob-ert Hotz reported that a stereo and CB radio had been taken from his vehicle while it was parked at Space 28, Walnut Lane Trailer Court. There was an act of vandalism vandal-ism where two telephones belonging to Continental in a booth at the Amoco station were ruined. They were valued valu-ed at $800. |
