Show Moab Hospital Personnel at Provo Course Seven employees at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab have been attending a refresher course in Pharmacology Pharma-cology for Licensed Practical Nurses. According to Wilson W. Sorensen, President of Utah Technical College at Rrovo, the program is being sponsored by the College, with the cooperation of Kay Hawks, administrator of Allen Al-len Memorial Hospital, and Ario Freestone, administrator administra-tor of San Juan County Hospital, Hos-pital, Blanding. The program is being taught by Larry Bailey, mathematics instructor at San Juan High School in Blanding, and John Burr, Health Occupations Department Depart-ment at Utah Technical College Col-lege at Provo. Participants from Moab were Vera Camberlango, Alice Al-ice Goodin, Beatrice Luckin-bill, Luckin-bill, Alta Pogue, Estol Rockwell, Rock-well, Berniece Sheckler and Marie Thomson. President Sorensen emphasized em-phasized that this type cf program is an outgrowth of a request made by local hospital hos-pital administrators. He also announced that other courses could be made available in other occuptions if groups were interested. Roger B. Honeyman, Dean of the Extended Ex-tended Campus Programs, is the administrator in charge of these programs. |
