They had just moved into their new home down by Dewey finished finish-ed and were enjoying it. Norville Wolvcrton has been under the weather for some time. Grandma Hale continues to stay well and gets around as usual, but naturally she has aches and pains from the bad weather. She is 93. Oscar Paxton rode the bus to Grand Junction and joined Jessie Jeffries, and they took in Moose Lodge meeting. Both arc members. Jesse Gruver went to Gateway Gate-way and on to the mine, where he checked on his trailer, which has been parked there since he has been under the doctors' care last June. There's a caretaker care-taker there so everything was in good shape. He went over to Wally Winfield's and found snow between Wally's house and his shop up to Jesse's shoulders and he's nearly six feet tall. They really have snow up there. Jessie Jefferies and . Jessie Gruver have both been in Grand Junction getting income in-come tax made out. Everybody Every-body is trying to get under the deadline. Mrs. Bessie Davis is feeling feel-ing pretty good since she returned to Thompson after being so sick in Moab. .Mr. and Mrs. Ted Miller and son Bruce went to Denver Den-ver to visit her mother and their daughter whom they had not seen for some tims. Mr. Miller had to return by train as it snowed too much for him to get back to his job on time in the car. Mrs. Miller and Bruce returned later. Mrs. Ted Miller gave a birthday party for her husband, hus-band, Tod, Sunday. A turkey dinner was served with all the trimmings including a nice cake and pumpkin pie. - Those attending w:ere Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rogers and family, Vera and Jim O'Neil, Velda and Price Bittle and Ruby Brostrom of Moab; George and Sadie Dutos, Gilbert and Helen Adams. Jesse and Virginia Gruver, Bill Miller (here from Rifle) and of course Mr. and Mrs. Tod Miller. Jesse Gruver showed his movies after dinner. din-ner. Lester Rogers and Bill Miller showed slides.
