Show Missing Items Being Checked By Police The taking of a number of items in three separate incidents inci-dents during the last week is currently under investigation by Moab Police. Five quarts of pennies were taken Jan. 30 from the home of Curtis Halls at 59 Vi E. Center, i Stereo equipment valued at about $1500'was taken Jan. 31 from the home of Greg Holland at 365 E. 1st North. On Feb. 1 Fred Stoye's office was broken into and a calculator and brief case were taken. Police report that the calculator has been recovered, and arrests are pending in the matter. Oir Jan. 29 the pop machine at Jack West's Chevron station was broken open and all the change, estimated at $75 cash, was taken. There was also damage to the machine, said Chief Dalton. A beer bottle was thrown through a window at Grand County High School on Jan. 30 doing about $75 damage. On Jan. 28 at 4:15 p.m. at 4th North and Main, Dallas Tanner, driving a 191 Scout,' had stopped for a stop sign and his vehicle was hit by a 1972 Chevrolet driven by William Caudell, doing about $500 damage to the Chevrolet and $100 damage to the Scout. Caudell was cited for driving under the influence of an intoxicating liquor. |
