Show Kate Lemon Killed in Idaho Wreck Family members left Moab Wednesday morning for Mountain Home, Idaho, to attend funeral services for Kate Stocks Lemon, who died following a collision near Mountain Home Monday. Mrs. Lemon and a friend, Gertrude Geiger, were returning re-turning to Mountain Home when a collision at an intersection inter-section with a pickup truck occurred. Mrs. Geiger, the driver of the vehicle, is in critical condition, and Mrs. Lemon did not regain consciousness con-sciousness after the accident. Kate Stocks Lemon was born March 30, 1903 in Moab to Angus M. and Mary Stocks. She.grew up and was married here to Henry J. Lemon, and they lived in Idaho their married life. He passed away several years ago in Mountain Moun-tain Home. Survivors include two sons, David and Angus; 3 daughters, daught-ers, Mrs. Delbert (Betty) Fol-well, Fol-well, Anita Bantz and Mrs. Robert (Nella) Kuehl, all of Boise; a number of grandchildren grand-children and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Lily) Ames, Gateway, Colo., Mrs. Claude (Ima) Irish, Moab, Mo-ab, two brothers, A.R. Stocks, Moab, and Edwin Stocks, Philo, Calif., and many nephews neph-ews and nieces in the Moab area. Funeral services will be Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in the Mountain Home LDS Church, with interment following there. |
