Show Large Group Gathered Here for Reunion Moab was in the midst of a uranium boom when the graduating class of 155 bid Gcins Award Utah Technical College at Provowill award certificates of completion and associate degrees de-grees to a total of 169 graduates Thursday. May 29, at 8 p.m. at the George Albert Smith Fieldhouse on the BYU campus. President Wilson W. Sorensen announced this week. In spite of the problems of locating members, the Class of 55 had a successful reunion. After getting re-acquainted and a short program with "awards", a screen was set up ' so everyone could show photos of their children, with some old pictures taken on the senior trip, the day we painted the G, etc. sneaked in. The Class of 55 was the last time all twelve grades were in the same building (jr. high), and maybe the problems of overcrowding helped to make it the best year ever. Everyone agreed to meet again in 1980. |
