Show PACK MEETING HELD Pack 3802 held their pack meeting Tuesday, May 27, when one of four scheduled yearly uniform inspections was held followed by presentation of awards by LcRoy Walker. Pack 3S02 is sponsored by the LDS Fourth Ward. Harold Lance and Archie Walker gra-j gra-j duated from Wcbclos, and i Archie Walker received The I Arrow of Light Award, the j highest award given in Cub Scouting. Meeker Students Enjoyed Two Days in Moab " w ..,.-vr. - -' Thirty-nine students, gracl- ' uating from Meeker High School in Colorado, spent two nights in Moab on what they called a "Sneak Trip" before returning to receive their diplomas. Traveling by bus, the students checked in at the Apache Motel, using it ns headquarters while seeing the sights of Canvonlands. Thursday night the group boarded the flat bottomed jet boat of Canyonlands lly Night as guests of owner-operator Skinnv Winn. In spile of a rather chilly breee the group enjoyed the trip up-river which enhanced their understanding of the history of the Moab area. Friday morning the students arose lo take a trip (o Arches Nalional Park and that afternoon after-noon departed for Dead Horse Point. They left for their homes Saturday. |
