Show 27 Seniors Attained College Credits Here During the past school year, twenty-seven members of the Senior Class at Grand County High School have completed Utah State University college courses through the Southeastern South-eastern Utah Center for Continuing Education, it was announced this week by Dr. H. " K. Hancock, director of the Center. The seniors were awarded between 3 and 21 credit hours of college credit for their efforts, and will have a jump on other freshmen registering for courses at regular college campuses in the fall. Twelve credit hours is equivalent to completing one full quarter of college work. Cornellie Fossey and Susan Czark led the list with 21 and 20 credit hours. Cornellie took Socio 101, Chem. Ill, HECE 480, HECE 260, Eng. 118. Susan took Lang. 101, Lang. 102, Lang. 103 and Math 105. Other students who were awarded college credit this year included Michael Adki-son, Adki-son, Andrea Allen, Cynthia Bolton, Jeff Cathey, Kevin Daniels, Frank Franklin, David Dav-id Gary, David Hopkins, Wes Ing, Kerry Johnson, Neil Bruce Johnson, Leah Jotly, Kimberly Klepzig, Donnie Knowles, David Maki, Jo-Anne Jo-Anne Modesto, Paula McEI-haney, McEI-haney, Lorraine O t t i n -ger, Steve Peck, Dana Phillips, Bruce Raymond, Laurel Rogers, Rog-ers, Dorene Stalcup, Toni Tangren, and Charla Wimmer. |
