Show Only a few accidents marred Easter weekend, Sheriff's Dept. reports ! Grand County Sheriff's Department personnel investigated several accidents acci-dents during the week, and reported that otherwise, other-wise, things were relatively relative-ly quiet, considering the number of visitors in the area. On March 22 about 9 p.m. Christine Essie White, 17, was eastbound on U-128 driving a 1967 Chevrolet. She went a-round a-round a . corner, swerved to miss a rock and ran into the hill. The vehicle was totaled and Ms. White was taken to the hospital by private vehicle and kept overnight for observation. obser-vation. On March 23 at 3:30 p.m. on Kane Springs Road past the egg ranch, two motorcycles collided. Involved were Donald N. Nish, m, 16, riding a 1975 Yamaha, and John R. McNeely, 17, riding a 1971 Yamaha. Both are from Bountiful. Nish was eastbound, went around a corner and ran head-on into McNeel-y. McNeel-y. There was about $100 damage to the Nish bike, and the other was totaled.
