Show Senior Citizen News . . . On St. Patrick's Dayt the Senior Citizen's dinner, din-ner, there were 38 present. pres-ent. The tables were decorated in an Irish theme. Mary Beth Ross entertained enter-tained at the piano with beautiful music, and she played a lot of lovely Irish songs, with the group led in singing by Elma Lee Elderkin. At the Friday, Mar. 24 dinner, the tables at the center were beautifully decorated ' in an Easter theme. About 40 seniors were present. Dinner included in-cluded V Cornish game hen, dressing, peas, hot rolls, fruit, punch, milk, and coffee. Mr. Howard Knight provided the Easter program pro-gram which included a color film on the life of Christ. Mr. Knight also sang "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked," "Holy City," and "Stranger "Stran-ger of Galilee." A total of 37 Senior Citizens attended a Pot Luck dinner held by the Moabite club at the Senior Citizen hall Saturday, Mar. 25. Turkey and dressing and many other delectable food items were served. After dinner, the seniors enjoyed dancing danc-ing and dominoes. Notice! The first Wednesday Wed-nesday in April, the 5th, will be a special meeting and voting night for officers of the Moabite Sr. Citizens' Club. Everyone interested in voting for his special person should be present on Wed., Apr. 5, at the Senior Citizen Hall. Ice Capades, starring Dorothy Hamill, will be at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City April 18-22, and senior citizens will be admitted for half price on Saturday, April 22 for the noon show. Seniors wish-' wish-' ing tickets must contact Madge Warde, who will order them. Price is $3.50. An American Heritage Senior Citizen's Spring Fling will be described on April 8 in Moab when Leon Rowley, a coordinator coordina-tor of the tour, will be here. Any senior citizen who may be interested in going along on the trip, which costs $499, is asked to contact Madge Warde at 259-7473 or 259-6623. The last dinner at the Senior Citizens' Center catered by Miller's Super Market was held Friday Mar. 24. Dinners will hereafter be served by the Ramada Inn Restaurant on the same days, Tuesday Tues-day and Friday. The dinners will be served at a little later time, 2:00 p.m., and reservations must be made in advance on Mondays and Thursdays before the dinners. The Senior Citizen Center Cen-ter will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays. Call the Senior Center at 259-6623 on those days to make reservations.
