Show BLM Road Job In This Area Shelved (Specfal to the T-l) Washington Projects In eight Western states for road construction on public domain do-main land have been shelved by the Nixon Administration in its revised 1970 budget to save $500,000. The work which has been held up includes 15 miles of road grading, 18 miles of road surfacing, three miles of trail and the installation instal-lation of a bridge. The second largest single project shelved was in the vicinity of Moab. It was listed list-ed by the Bureau of Land Management as the Hatch Point project in San Juan County, $200,000 for ten miles of road grading. It was the only Utah Jpo-ject Jpo-ject on the list. |
