This is totally false, as anyone who attended this hearing knows. Fully 90 of those w ho spoke were against any decrease in air quality within the state of Utah. One has to wonder how-Mr. how-Mr. Merrell could be so inaccurate on this point since he w as present for a good part of the hearing, which is more than can be said for his fellow politicos who were allowed to speak first and departed almost immediately thereafter. there-after. Apparently these elected elect-ed officials did not have time to hear how their constituents feel on this issue. It's too bad they didn't stick around as the afternoon session was not without its lighter moments.
