Utah Department Commander Com-mander Dahl Ray Jensen has also asked me to speak for him and his officers in thanking everyone for the good times and hospitality shown to them in Moab. The answer is very apparent: In 1926 Congress passed income tax legislation which enables those people with income from extraction of minerals and fossil fuels, such as oil and coal, to escape the income tax entirely on up to 50 of their net income from such extraction. No tax advantage, even remotely comparable, was given to encourage the development deve-lopment of energy from the inexhaustible energy sources such as solar power, wind power, regTowable vegetation and waste conversion. Congress has failed for over 50 years to remove this gross inequity from the tax law. This has worked to the extreme ex-treme disadvantage of those trying to raise capital to develop the inexhaustible energy en-ergy sources. If Congress continues to fail to remove this inequity from the tax law, it is not likely that there will be any significant signifi-cant development of these inexhaustible sources very soon because the development capital will obviously continue to be attracted to where a. tax advantages are I will gladly ,upp,y information on this sub!' free on request, to toJ who will write to me all 127.
