Show Youth Theatre Class SlatedFor Moab This Season Ili conjunction with the Community Schools program this year, Jean Roberts will he offering a' youth drama theatre with two classes. The first class, to be offered offer-ed on Tuesday nights from G to 7:3o p.m., will be for fifth and sixth grade students stud-ents and will be held at the Helen M. Knight Elementary School gym. The second of the classes will be offered for junior high school students and will be taught at the junior jun-ior high in room 19-20 from 6 to 7:30 on Wednesday evenings. ev-enings. Both carry a $5.00 registration fee. Mrs. Roberts taught a similar si-milar program in Michigan tor six years and the class will include instruttion in makeup, stage manner, set construction and everyone will have a chanc eto appear on the stage for the production which wiE be held the last night of the ten week course. A minimum of 15 students is needed for each of the two classes. i I Registration will be on tie first night of class and anyone any-one desiring further informa-tio informa-tio on the course should contact Mrs. Roberts at 259-6891. In addition to the classes for youth, Mrs. Roberts and her husband, Conrad, are planning a community production pro-duction for adults. Anyone interested in any portion of staging a production, makeup, make-up, set construction, painting paint-ing or acting should contact Mr. or Mrs. Roberts for information. in-formation. Tentative plans call for productions in the fall and winter if there is eriugh interest shown. |
