Show Thompson By Virginia Gruver Mrs: Mable Anderson of Park Rapids, Minn., is in Thompson, visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Anderson. She has seen a lot of country since she came. They visited Dead Horse Point and Wednesday evening a bunch went to the Hoffman's Castle Valley ranch ran-ch for a barbeque chicken and beef supper. Those going were Mr. and Mrs. Verne Anderson, his mother, Mrs. Mable Anderson, Bob Bruce, and Virginia Gruver. After the lovely supper the camp-fire camp-fire was lit. Then with guitars gui-tars and singing, the evening even-ing was spent. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Kiggens of Fort Apache, Ariz, were visitors at Virginia Graver's home Saturday. Also visit-in visit-in a wprp Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Curtis of Gallup, N.M. and other relatives and friends. The Sago reunion was held at the Thompson Community Hall, and a fair crowd turned turn-ed out for lots of eats and the best of music with Shor-tie Shor-tie Craig's 6 piece band. Dancing, singing and games were held all afternoon and the dancing cotinued into the wee hours of the morning. |
