Show March Police Activities Listed by Chief Police activities for the month of March have been summarized by Chief of the Department, Ken Aikins, who on March 10th met with the Utah State Bureau of Criminal Identification regarding stolen vehicle reports, re-ports, wanted persons reports, re-ports, files and crime report ing. Three officers attended an FBI police training school in Monticello on March 2S. The training covered categories cat-egories of search and seizure, seiz-ure, interviews, search of persons, confessions and signed statements. A total of 52 traffic con- -tacts were made by officers of the department during the month. Nine traffic accidents, ac-cidents, netting $3,550 damage, dam-age, were investigated. Thirty-one trouble reports were received and answered oihor invest igations included includ-ed family disturbances, 4; prowler calls, 5: thefts, 5; burglaries, 2; canine trouble calls. 7. One breathalizer test was made; three escorts es-corts provided for funerals; "'' 75 inspections for Utah fe- hide title made; three bicycle bi-cycle licenses issued, and assistance given in three fires. Four emergency messages were delivered, and 7 investigations inves-tigations made of canine trouble. Citations were issued for 21 speeding charges; 1 fail- i ure to keep vehicle under ,t control causing accident; 1 .ii failure to yield right of way one leaving scene of acci- J. dent; three for operating vehicle without a license, 1 .i driving on revoked license; ' l 2 driving without Utah op-erators op-erators license; 1 driving with expired car license; 2 failure to stop at stop sign; . 1 improper right turn, 1 improper im-proper parking, 2 public in- toxication, 2 assault & bat- ..... tery on which 1 outside . a complaint was filed.
