Show GUGGENHEIM SAYS ELY IS A SECOND BUTTE (Special to The Telegram.) ELY, Nev., Jan. 15. Work is being pushed on the McDonald Elv property, and while Manager McDonald is conservative con-servative and reticent, it is known that reports that are highly flattering to Messrs. Kearns, Keith and Wall, the controllers of this fine property, have been sent to the trio of owners. The . Wall tunnel was in the sulphides some weeks ago, and it is reported in the camp that fine ore has already been encountered. Manager McDonald makes no bones of stating that in the McDonald-Ely ' the owners have one of the greatest eopper mines in the West. With the completion of the development work and the building of the Guggenheim " smelter the mine is expected to take front rank as a producer.
