Show NATIONAL BOARD OF TRADE IN SESSION WASHINGTON. Jan. 15. The annual an-nual convention of the Board of Trade, composed of boards of trade, merchant associations, chambers of commerce and other business organizations, met in this city today for a four days' session. ses-sion. Frank De La Lanne of Philaded-phia, Philaded-phia, president of the national board, presided. Thj program provided discussion dis-cussion of the following subjects, among others: American merchant marine, ma-rine, interstate commerce as affecting the power of the Interstate Commerce eommision to legalize reasonable tariff agreements between railorads, railroad traffic agreements. Government ownership owner-ship of railroads, increase of baggage limit, extension of foreign trade, improvement im-provement of navigable waterways, the Government 's relations with Japan, and anti trust laws. |
