Show NEW PLANT TOR UTAH COPPER.' D. C. Jackling, general manager of the Utah Copper company, returned last night from an extended trip to New York City, where he attended an important meeting of stockholders. Aside from reports of the meeting already al-ready published',, no other information was furnished by Jackling. It is understood,! however, that the sum of (1,500,000 secured from the sale of. the additional 60,000 shares of capital stock authorized at tne meeting, meet-ing, will be expended in erecting new plants and in .further - improving the property. By this means the indebtedness indebted-ness of the compaay, other than the bonded obligations, will sot bd increased. |
