Show that everything in the mining line -Is almost paralyzed. The entire country around Pioche is flooded, and It Is almost Impossible to get In sufficient supplies to keep the men In the camp provided with the necessities of life. There are a number of producing properties prop-erties In old Pioche. and several other companies are making, herculean efforts to enter the shipping class at an early i date., . Almost every . property In the proven mineral belt is yielding some return, re-turn, and the old properties that, have been developed to any extent are showing show-ing up good values. Because of the recent washouts on the Salt Lake Route, God be stated that there had been some apprehension on the part of the mine-owners In that section as to the probabilities of the completion of the branch from Caliente to Pioche.
