Show TETRO GOING TO OREGON. Gus Tetro. who is one of the founders of a number of the big properties In the Tintlc district, came in town last night en route to new copper properties located about twenty-five miles from Baker City, Or. Tetro Is superintendent of the Go-diva Go-diva mines, which are owned and controlled con-trolled by John Q. Packard and associates, associ-ates, and as the company is a close corporation cor-poration very little of developments In that property is given out to the public. Mr. Tetro said this morning; that the company had an immense tonnage of value product that was being extracted, while the exploratory force was meeting with success in the blocking out of reserved re-served ois. The financial condition of the company is evidently in the very best condition, as the directors seem to make arrangements for the regular distributions with the regularity of clock work. According to Mr. Tetro the entire Tin-tic Tin-tic district from Eureka down to Silver City Is In a most flourishing condition, and the coming season will doubtless be the most productive one In the history of that camp, provided labor can be had to get the rich product to the market. Some old-time friends of Mr. Tetro have induced him to go out to trie new copper district in the vicinity of Baker City, and from the reports that have been given him there is an abundance of high-grade red metal that will be of interest to mining mi-ning operators for years to come. With this information at hand the veteran mining mi-ning man has headed for that neck of the woods and hopes to be able to return to this city within a short time with some facts about a new copper country that will startle the natives. |
