Nov, (INS) With three marathon victories to his credit this year, Pat Dengis, 37-year-old airplane mechanic from Baltimore, enjoyed a good laugh at Father Time's expense today. Following triumphs in the Pan-American Pan-American and Port Chester runs, the veteran came from behind to score a 25-ysrd triumph over Gerard Cote of Quebec in the Yonkers marathon mar-athon yesterday. He covered the regulation marathon distance of 21 miles. 3S3 yards in 2:42:50.4. In third and fourth places, respectively, respec-tively, were George L. Durgin of Beverly, Mass., and LesHa Pawson of Pawtucket, . R. L. Thirty-four runners finished. |
