Since last summer, when health officials publicly charged that conditions con-ditions in some plants were "filthy," abattoirs have been cleaning up. City Commissioner George D. Three doctor-members of the city board of health, men whose training haa fitted them to seek out un-healthful un-healthful conditions, also expreased their pleasure at the progress shown. 'The packers have done a lot of cleaning up in a very short time," commented Dr. F. M. McHugh. and Dr. Henry Raile and Dr. J. R. Llewellyn nodded agreement. |
