The report said diphtheria cases reported In the week ended November Novem-ber 12 were 54. compared with 105 the previous week. j Total cases of communicable dis-1 ,eas reported the week ended November No-vember 12 were 220. a drop of 31 1 from the previous week. Decreases I were reported in infantile paralysis, 'measles, smallpox and whooping cough, and increases in chickenpox. influenza, mumps, scarlet fever and tuberculosis. Recently the state board of health urged diphtheria inoculations and strict control of the disease. |
