Show SOCIAL WORKER MEETING NEARS Th thirteenth annual Utah atate conference of social work will open 1 Friday at 9 a. m. at the University of Utah Union building for a two-day two-day session, according to Arthur L. Beeley. dean of the University of Utah's newly opened school of social so-cial work and member of the conference's con-ference's program committee. Luncheon rVheduled At 12:15 p. m. there will be a luncheon meeting sponsored, by the American Association of Social Workers. The general session will resume at 2:15 p. m.. with Adjutant Adju-tant John C. Kidneigh, president of the central council of social agencies. Salt Lake City, presiding. Continues Saturday The conference will open Saturday Satur-day at 9 a. m. with a business meeting meet-ing for delegates and county welfare wel-fare directors. Mrs. Louise Y. Robi-I son. president of the L. D. S. Relief society, will preside over the 10 a. m. general session. At 11:30 a. m. Dr. Ogburn will speak on "What the World Faces Today and Tomorrow." Tomor-row." ' A luncheon meeting sponsored by the group work council, central council of social agencies. Salt Lake City, will be held at 12:45 p. m.. during which time Roy Sorenson, j associate general secretary of the: Y. M. C. A., Chicago, will be the speaker.
