Show CROWDS THRONG S. L, AUTO SHOW Good Business Year Seen by Dealers Second day crowds pouring Into the intermountaln auto show at th Coconut Orov ballroom, 44 South Main street, Thursday brought happy smile ta th facea of dealers. "It looks like a good year for us. and that means that other types of business will benefit as well," Charles C Freed, president of the Intermountaln Auto Show corporation, corpora-tion, reported. Some 7000 persons Inspected th 138 model on display Wednesday, and the display floor crowded with (150,000 worth of th finest examples exam-ples of modern automotive engineering engi-neering was luring additional thousands of visitors Thursday. Doors will close at ( p. m. Thursday, Thurs-day, but the show will be open from 11 a. m. until 11:30 p. m. Friday. The five-day exposition was officially offi-cially "Inaugurated" Wednesday evening by Governor Henry H. Blood and Mayor E. B. Erwin, who spoke briefly on civic aspects of th show, only on to be held between be-tween Denver and th Pacific coast. Special interest at th show is being attracted by the model airplanes air-planes displayed by the Tribuae-Telegram Tribuae-Telegram Intermountaia Aviation club. The Tribune-Telegram Youth Activities Ac-tivities band will be included in Saturday's entertainment program at the shew, and arrangements bavs I been made to provide boys and girls under 17 years of age free admission admis-sion tickets, which msy be obtained t iha Tribune-Teleiram business office. Friday's entertainment program will Include floor shows by the Hay-mond Hay-mond "Streamline Frolics of 1K38" at 2:30 p. m.. 4:30 p. m. and 10:30 p. m. Eighteen coeds will take part In a fashion show at 8:30 p. m. |
