Schnell Salt Ljik City's newest patriotic pa-triotic organization, Uncle Sam's Daughters ambitious group of patriotic high school girls had embarked on Its career ca-reer of service Wednesday. Headed by Miss LaVon Keith-ley, Keith-ley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Keithley, 3980 200 East street, the organization was pre-' pre-' sented with an American flag Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Milligan, 241 Downington avenue, by Mrs. Clinton W. Gibbs, president of the Daughters of Union Veterans, Vet-erans, Eaton camp No. 1. Tha girls will meet Monday afternoons at tha homes of members and will undertake Red Cross work and first aid. Officers of the organization, In addition to Miss Keithley, are Beverly Morganson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Mons Morganson, Mor-ganson, 3960 300 East street, vice president; Norma Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mr. Clyde C. Clark. 3953 300 East street. Junior vice president, and her slsterj Beth Clark, conductress; Mildred Tripp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy C Tripp, 3949 300 East street,' patriotic Instructor, In-structor, and Betty Posteher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Posteher. 3917 South State (100 East street), guard. LaRae Milligan Mil-ligan lis secretary. The! girls attend Granite high sohoot except Miss Milligan, who attends South high school. I |
