In the Utah fieldhouse when the local Ecker Studio quintet tackles the ' Denver Legion In the headline ' game of the Infantile paralysis fund benefit casaba program. Al'a Service and the Guardian Benefit clubi will open the three-game three-game program at 7 p. m., followed fol-lowed by a "grudge" match be tween the East and South high school faculty quintets. All proceeds, pro-ceeds, except the cash needed to pay the expense of bringing the Legions here, will go to the paralysis fund, according to P. S. Ecker, sponsor of the team bearing his name. The Legions, formerly the Denver Nuggets, boast a crew ' of hard-playing hotshots, includ- ing Bob Gruenig, all-America star four times; Tee Connel of Oklahoma U.; Bob Marsh, formerly for-merly with the Antlers; Dick Wells, a veteran of many Missouri Mis-souri Valley league campaigns; Haskell Leuty, a former Wyoming Wyo-ming university star, and Jack -Harvey, Don Thurman and Art 1 Unger, formerly of Colorado U. The squad is coached by Jack McCracken, another all-America star Nick Watts, all Big Seven forward; for-ward; Stew Pendleton, Merlin Ahlqulst and Bob Melroy, all former Utah stars, and Les Cannon, Can-non, former B Y U aee are head-llneis head-llneis for Ecker Studio.
