Show CCC Cooks Planning Lots of Dough To Feed Pie to Alta Throngs Cooks of the CCC are busy planning to make enough pics to serve the hundreds of persons expected to attend dedication of the U. S. forest service ski shelter at Alta at 12:30 p. m. Sunday, J. E. Gurr, supervisor of the Wasatch national forest, said Wednesday. Free pie and coffee will be features of the program, with CCC enrollccs becoming becom-ing "hashers" to serve the food. Mr. Gurr said the shelter was being finished Wednesday. Construction was done by the C CjC and W P A, in cooperation coopera-tion with the forest service, Salt Lake city and county commissions and private firms, which made donations. A committee representing the senior and junior champers of commerce and forest for-est service met at the Alta lodge Wednesday Wednes-day morning to complete plans for the dedication dedi-cation I |
