Show KEEP EGGS FRESH FOR EIGHT MONTHS TACOMA, Wash;, Nov. 26-A process Intended to revolutionize the cold storage sto-rage egg business has Just been perfected per-fected by two Wilbur men and the result re-sult of the first test, has been learned with much Interest by the produce trade. While the features of the curing process proc-ess are kept secret. It Is claimed after eight months' treatment the eggs have been found as fresh as when they were packed away last spring. Peter Chrlstensen and H. M. Hansen opened up the first vat of the preserved eggs at Wilbur and applied the test. They have packed away 20,000 dosen this season. The eggs will be sold when the winter market reaches a figure to suit the packers. |
