Show INDIANS IN FOOTBALL Teams From Carlisle and Haskclf Meet at the World's Fair. ST. LOUIS. Nov. 26.-Before the largest crowd ever gathered to witness a football game in St. Louis, the Carlisle Indian School of Pennsylvania and the Haskell Indian School of Kansas battled today for football supremacy -in the World's fair stadium. Nearly equally matched as to weight, trained to the hour and each noted for its ability to puzzle their opponents with trick plays, the game aroused great interest. in-terest. Today's game was the first played between be-tween Indian teams representing the two Government institutions, and great significance sig-nificance was attached to the result, owing ow-ing to the strong rivalry that exists between be-tween the Eastern and Western schools.
