Inter-esting. , Young Simms is a clever boy and those who have reen him work declare that he is due to beat either Terry Davis Da-vis or Price. Speck Smith and Toung Wolcott are not-the bert of friends, f ah of them having announced in loud ' - ,,d boastful tones that he could beat V.e block off the other man. They took a try at it for personal satisfaction a few weeks ago and went five of the hottest hot-test rounds ever fought in the Pastime club. However, the Senators took a slight brace and man-' man-' aged to pull even with the Independents in the percentage column. The games were closely contested, but the Senators won two out of three games, although the difference dif-ference in the total score of the two teams was only two pins. The work of both teams was ragged and much below the average. Hull bowled " well for two games out of three and got a fair average, although be sandwiched in a rotten game along with the good ones.
