Show C F. & I. BEGINS ITS FIGHT AGAINST TRUST DENVER, Co!o., Dec. 8. Plans to rpend $1,000,000 in improvements at Pueblo havf been announced from the offices In Denver of the Colorado Fuel and Iron company. The money is part of the JS.UOO.OuO appropriation under the recent reorganization scheme for extension ex-tension of properties. The big tin plate mill and the merchant mer-chant mill, both of which are Incomplete, Incom-plete, will be finished at once and the ' latest machinery for the manufacture of all sorts of merchant steel is to be I; stalled. New open hearth furnaces are to be put In the rail mill and the merchant mill. The company already has on hand contracts for the present output two years ahead. |
