The day passed quietly and not much effort was madl by either the Non-partisan or American parties to bring out the full v.otlng strength. i The election resulted In the victory of the Non-partisan ticket, five of the can. didates on that ticket being elected, and one American party candidate pulling through. v s Joseph Oberndorfer, ' American party candidate in the Fifth ward, waa elected by a majority of sixty-two votes. Returns from eeveral of the districts were slow coming in, it being 10 o'clock before the last count was received at the Board of Education. The tabluated vote follows: . First Ward.
