Show FIRST IN TENNIS CONTEST IS PLAYED The first round In the tennis championship ! of -the Y. M. C. A. was played off yesterday yester-day at the association courts. About twenty men were entered and some very good playing play-ing reaultad. although not aa brilliant aa in the recent Stat tournament. The best playing of the day wa done by " H1U. Plummer and Caley. Hill did some exceptional placing. Caley waa a continual puule with hia return cuts, while Dr. Plum-' Plum-' mer achieved bia succesa by cool. teady, consistent playing.
