Show NARROW ESCAPE OF TELEGRAPH EMPLOYEE William Hudson, an employee of the Western Union Telegraph company, had a narrow escape from death at 3:30 yesterday yes-terday afternoon. . The man, in company with a number of others, was stringing wires on Third West street. He was climbing a pole and had reached a height of twenty-five feet when he came in contact with a live wire and lost his hold. He waa at once picked up and taken to the L. D. B. hospital, where it was reported that he was not seriously injured. in-jured. Hudson is 80 years of age and unmarried. He lives at 222 Iowa avenue with his mother and two' sisters. |
