Show IN TEXAS. n Clay Clement, the actor, tells a story of his farming venture in Texas. He had purchased a large ranch and had started in to raise a number of things on a big scale. One day he met Senator Bailey, whom he quite resembles, both in stature and features. Bailey asked Clement If he were yet acclimated. "Oh, yes the air is .fine here" replied Clement. "No," said Bailey, "I mean are you acclimated?" "What do you mean. Senator, by acclimated?" ac-climated?" inquired Clement. "That," replied the Senator, "when one comes to Texas he jje'ts rid of all that he brings with him and then starts on an even footing with the rest of us."
