Show JUDGMENT OP LOWER COURT IS AFFIRMED The Supreme court this morning sustained sus-tained the Judgment of J5l'." returned by a jury in the lower court against Jacob Bcrgermm. proprietor of the ('aider's ('ai-der's park resort for the season of 1W)4 and Special Deputy Sheriff Ohar'es l Ford, an employee under Bergerman The opinion upholds the Judgment which was reached by ea h Juror putting put-ting the amount he thought the plaintiff plain-tiff was entitled to on a slip of paner and dropping It into a hat. The sums were totaled up and divided by eight, the number of Jurors. The plaintiff, Joshua Midgley, brought suit against the men for an assault alleged to have been made upon him by the two defendants. |
