ERWIN TEARS, Colorado passenger agent of the New York Central lines at Denver, is in the city for a few days. N. L. DREW, general agent of the passenger department of the Rock Island, and L. F. Kimball, assistant general gen-eral freight agent of the same road, are in Salt Lake City. Both have headquarters headquar-ters at Denver. PRESIDENT JOSEPH T. KINGSBURY KINGS-BURY of the University of Utah has returned re-turned from an extended trip through the East, during which he attended the annual an-nual conventions of the National Association Asso-ciation of State Universities and State Mining Schools, held at Washington. D. C. November IS and 14. President Kingsbury Kings-bury announced that he would recommend recom-mend to the faculty of the University that a post graduate course be arranged along certain lines, leading to the degree of master of arts. SPENCER CLAWBON. who has been In Portland for several months as manager man-ager of the Utah exhibit at the Lewis and Clark centennial exhibition, has returned re-turned to the city. The work of the commission has been completed, the exhibits ex-hibits have been returned to this city, and the building has been sold. PROF.
