Show H!!S. IIUBBffRD SAFE AT QUEBEC Wife of Unfortunate Arctic Arc-tic Explorer Tells of Hunt for Husband. , QUEBEC. Nov. 21. After a rather rough and lengthy passage in the gulf ahd river St. Lawrence, the coasting steamer King Edward arrived here last night from Chateau bay. In the straits of Belie Isle, having on board among her passengers Mrs. Hubbard, widow of the ill-fated Leon Idas Hubbard, who lost his life In endeavoring to explore the wilds of Labrador peninsula. Mrs. Hubbard is accompanied by George Ellison, the Montagnes Indian guide, who was with her husband during dur-ing his unlucky expedition. She left here immediately for Montreal on her way to New York, where she will arrive ar-rive today. When questioned about her expedition, expedi-tion, she said that she had succeeded in her object; that she had followed the route taken by her husband from the coast to the point where he had met his death from exposure and starvation; that she had found where he had diverged di-verged from his route and lost his way, and that she had cleared up some Important Im-portant points In regard to the bead-waters bead-waters of the Northwest river, which flows Into Lake Melville at Hamilton Inlet, as well as In regard to Lake Mes-hlman Mes-hlman ar.d the George river, which flows Into Ungava bay.
