W Rawlings secretary of ot the judicial committee announced Tuesday Polling places will wm be the same as those used when delegates were named to the state convention at which delegates to the Democratic national convention were chosen Mr Rawlings said In addition to the delegates from Salt Lake county there will be seven from Tooele county seven from Summit and one from tram Daggett The convention will be held in the commission commission com corn mission chambers of the city and county building The convention will meet to nominate nominate nom nom- mate six candidates for the Third district bench and one district ne ney However some party leaders have expressed an nn opinion that the convention will name but five candidates candidates can can- for the bench on June 2 25 25 leaving leaving leav leav- ing log the thc sixth berth open until the state slate nominating convention Party observers have pointed out that David id W. W Moffat and James H. H Wolfe both incumbent Third district court ourt judges have an eye on the nomination nomination nom nom- motion for the state supreme bench There is but one vacancy there through the expiration of the thc term of Chief Justice J. J W W. Cherry By nominating only five candidates for or the district bench on June 25 the sixth place would be left open for Judge Wolfe or Judge Moffat whoever whoever who who- ever is the defeated candidate for the supreme court nomination Another candidate for the district bench came to light Tuesday when Allan G.
