OCR Text FORD REGARDS ISSUES LIGHTLY DETROIT June 14 Henry P-Henry Henry Ford believes the issues now being stirred up at the political conventions mean nothing and thinks they will not have havethe havethe havethe the slightest effect on the things that we arc are all interested in today today eco eco economic co recovery jobs and money in inthe inthe inthe the pocket of the average man In an interview today Mr Ford lauded the abilities of ot President Hoover Hoover Hoo Hoe Hoever ver and said he expected to see him reelected because he is the best fitted fitted fit tit ted man for the job One thing that should be cleared up he said is uis that these national conventions are not so important as they are made to seem They cant can't give the people anything and they cant can't take anything away from the people So far as the constitution of i ithe the United States is concerned they are simply private sessions of clans A lot of ot this excitement over the various called so-called issues in Chicago today has been drummed up to deceive deceive de de- de the people into thinking that conventions really mean something Declaring there is nothing wrong with the country today Mr Ford said there is nothing wrong with anything anything any any- thing except the money system and Hoover certainly has no control over that He should have and some day the people will have such control We are interested today in putting money in the pocket of ot t the e average man reversing the economic spiral by putting men to work he lie said and andall andall andall all this stuff shill in Chicago has no effect whatever on that The country knows what its real task is and is not going to be switched off by propagandists of an any sort
