Show MARGARINE CO. BEGINS GOOD WILL CAMPAIGN To help housewives understand why the shortage of margarine continues although consumer rationing ra-tioning has been lifted, the John F. Jelke Co., Chicago, is starting an explanatory advertising job in 181 newspapers. The campaign tells the consumer that the margarine mar-garine scarcity is caused by the shortage of choice vegetable oils used in making the product. It urges them to have patience and keep asking for margarine. The campaign replaces regular Good Luck margarine advertising for the period and is intended to promote pro-mote good will for the industry in general and the retailer in particular. |
